Looking for a great nu disco mix? My good buddy John (aka DJ Deadbird) has compiled a grooving selection of indie, french, and nu disco. Without slagging him too much about his race or the fact that he used to play nu skool breaks, I’ll let him introduce his own mix.

“Yacht funk is a term some are using now to describe a sub-genre in nu-disco/dreamwave that, basically, sounds like music you’d be listening to on a yacht on a sunny day. This is my tribute to summer, friends, and sailing on the ocean. I hope you enjoy the smooth basslines and fun lyrics!”
