Here is my latest house music chart, feel free to add your top 10 songs for December:
- Justin Michael & Phonic Funk – Take Me To The Sky (Funk Soldiers)
I really love either of the Funky Soldier remixes, such a great building track.
- Roy Davis Jr – Give It Up (Chris Samba & Don Le May Remix)
What a contagious beat, has a nice groove to it, i’m really feelin it
- Distant People – Just Sing (MuthaFunkaz Music Mix)
Take your pick, all strong remixes and the vocal is slammin. Prefer the sax mix with muthafunkz edit
- Mario Fabriani – Spudda Dudda Doo
Jackin house, JY can do no harm, bring him back
- Chocolate Puma – Whohaddrums
The moist dub is pretty slick, but Whohaddrums has a nice summer samba vibe to get the punters warmed up during the cold months
- Hotfingers – A Lot Of
Simple and affective, nice driving house track
- Insatiable – Back to Fundamentals
Track of the year imo, can’t get this out of my head
- Eric Davenport – Time To Let You Go (Giom)
Very groovin, nice hook and catchy vocals
- Osunlade – Mommas Groove (Jimpster Hip Replacement Mix)
Deep and delicious
- Giano – Latino Special
Latin love on the dance floor
Please support the artists and purchase these songs from a legal mp3 vender

Hi Kenny,
glad you liked my post! My top 5 tracks for this month are:
Combination 03 – JPLS
this one just jams. Reminds me of that old ‘Phreak’ track by DBX
Don and Sherri – Matthew Dear
Matthew Dear is one of my all time faves. LOVE this track. I keep playing this over and over and over…
Mahalageasca (Bucovina Dub) – Mahala Rai Banda
Just got this. totally fun funky klezmer house on Basement Jaxx label (Atlantic Jaxx?). LOVE the live horns on this.
Parallelism – Medu
Very minimal and BANGIN. Wait for the bassline right around 1:01;)
Hard South Americans (Loco Dice’Chunk the Funk’ Remix) – Dani Koenig –*really* love this track
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS TRACK. TOTALLY gets the party rocking whenever it’s dropped.
Anyway, that’s all. I really need to get more of my dj mixes up. Do you edit your mixes before putting them up? Is that ‘cheating’?

nice tracks Morgan, will check them out right now
As far as dj mixes, i’m using 2 pioneer cd decks and a djm800. No edits on the computer except adding the intro and a few “My House My Rules” samples throughout the mix. I think some people use ableton live and a controller (like pete tong) and some people consider it “cheating”. But my ableton live experiments are for making beats from scratch. Are you involved with using ableton for live performances?
